Extremely good service by the mechanic his name was mike. Fixed my issue but it ended up returning , so he came to my house after I called him on the same day to look at it again . Great customer service really went out of his way to genuinely help

That's Ron, and he is absolutely the most helpful, useful guy in Henrys in Waterloo. I come in relatively often, buying everything from paper and ink for my printer to accessories for my camera, and have had nothing but good experiences with all the staff.

Also, Henrys price matches any reputable store (e.g. Vistek), so their prices are almost always competitive.

Stumbling on this blog is almost weird - I can only say my experience has been the diametric opposite of the majority of posters.

Back in 2011 I hit a deer and read the reviews online, and decided to go ahead and give Robert a shot at ROWA Auto Collision Repair. He replaced the entire fender, replaced/fixed headlights, fixed bumper, and repainted to match exactly to the car (2008 Jeep Patriot) for $1,000 flat. The price was 30% or more less than the other quotes I've gotten. He got it done in two-three days time and even offered to drop me off if I needed a ride.

Genuine guy - if he tells you he's going to do it for a certain price, you bet that's what he's going to do. Car looked perfect afterwards. I live in Toronto now and scraped my new car within a month of getting it and thinking about heading back up to Kitchener for him.

I had the rust fixed and the roof painted on my Toyota Corolla at ROWA AUTO COLLISION REPAIR back in 2010 (or maybe it was 2009). The rust has not reappeared and the roof still looks like new.

Courtney,

Yes I paid the penalty plus interest within the deadline.

You didn't give details but I typed a long letter as Objection arguing many points that I could think of based on this page, mainly that I do not owe tax, I submit the form voluntarily and there's nothing in the guide saying there would be a heavy penalty if you don't owe tax or submit voluntarily.

If the Objection is successful there's no tax court to go to. When I initially phoned the CRA I was advised to try the Taxpayer Relief but I thought that might lead to a dead end because the route to tax court would be via an Objection. There is a time limit to raise an objection and I couldn't risk it with trying the Taxpayer Relief.

Best of luck.

I got the same shock as everyone else when the mail came yesterday. I can't afford not to fight it. 'Another victim,' did you pay the fine and then get a refund when your objection was successful? I don't want to rack up more interest in case I end up losing so maybe I should scrape up the cash and pay now. Also, how did you avoid having to go to tax court? Any advice as I begin my fight?

Thanks!

I don't really have a control system for it... this project has been stalled for years. But in a typical pneumatic system, you can get valves that just do that. When you turn off the solenoid, the output is vented to the atmosphere.

Nice project! Once the valve is closed, how do you release the gas pressure to open it again?
